Our Mission
Sustainability
We highly value sustainability and are always finding new ways to minimise our impact on the environment. We're not perfect, but will keep striving for improvement.
Fabric Wastage
At Darlila, we're committed to building a more sustainable future by embracing slow fashion principles at every stage of our process. Each garment is made to order in limited quantities, allowing us to minimise overproduction and thoughtfully manage resources. We proudly work with natural fibres and deadstock fabrics — giving new life to high-quality materials that might otherwise go to waste.
To further reduce fabric wastage, we repurpose leftover offcuts into handmade scrunchies, ensuring that even the smallest pieces are put to good use.
Natural Fibres
We proudly craft our garments using 100% natural fibres, with a current focus on linen and cotton — fabrics we love for their breathability, comfort, and lower environmental impact. As we grow, we’re committed to expanding our use of natural materials and continuing to explore new, innovative sustainable fabrics. Our goal is to make conscious choices that feel as good on the skin as they are for the planet.
Packaging
To prevent more packaging from ending up in landfill, we have carefully chosen to only use what is essential. All orders are sent out in compostable mailer bags. We ask that you please remove your shipping label before composting the bag.
How You Can Help
Our high quality garments are made to last. To help look after your clothes, please read our care instructions carefully. If making a return, we ask that you ship it back in the same post bag back to us to reduce waste. If you no longer wish to wear one of our garments, please pass it on to a friend so it can be continue to be cherished by someone else.
